I grew up in Warren, Pennsylvania on a dairy farm with my parents and younger brother. I went to Warren Area High School and graduated in 1997. After highschool, I attended Jamestown Business College and received an Associates in Business Management and Marketing. I got a job at a car dealership working in Accounts Payable. After working a couple of years, I realized that office work was not something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life. While I work I attended Jamestown Communit College where I had an opportunity to observe and do a few lessons in a kindergarten class. Immediately, I knew this was my calling. I received my Associates in Liberal Arts and a Early Childhood Development Certificate. I finished my education at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. I have been married for 2 1/2 years and have a 4 month old son. My husband's job in Pennsylvania was completed. He applied at Hyundai. Months later we found out that he got the job. This is how our family ended up in Alabama.
Students are working on their clay pots after discussing a lesson on Korean pottery.
